Visit the Cherry Shed, on the Bass Highway at Latrobe, just a 10 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania terminus in Devonport. Free sampling of our many delicious cherry products will be a highlight of your summer visit to Tasmania.

The Cherry Shed is owned and operated by Paul and Tina Badcock, and the cherries are grown locally in the Badcocks' orchard. The fertile, volcanic soils and temperate climate of Tasmania's northwest combine to give a long growing season which results in some of the largest and most richly flavoured cherries grown anywhere in the world. Taste the difference in our fresh cherries, and in our wines, jam, sauces and sweet treats.

After spectacular white blossoms in spring, the cherries set on the trees and ripen in the summer sun from mid-December. Hand-picked fruit is washed and sold fresh to customers at the Cherry Shed. The bold sweetness of juicy cherries constantly delights our customers, as they come back again and again during the summer.
