The Cherry Shed Evening Functions... planning your function has never been so easy. Weddings, dinners, events, and parties, all with a cherry on top!

At The Cherry Shed we can take the hassle out of planning your next function by providing great service, an outstanding venue and top notch food. We aim to please and will have every detail covered, so that you can relax and enjoy your day and the company of family and friends.

The Shed - Our dining room is the perfect space to entertain both large and small groups having room to seat up to 100 people, however we can cater for up to 150 for a cocktail party. The venue has been tastefully decorated with a cherry style theme, with the main feature being a large "Cherry Tree" as a centrepiece. With two enclosed indoor/outdoor rooms, and landscaped gardens as well as a playground for the children, everyone will be kept comfortable and happy. Thirsty? The bar is fully licensed and has a great range of all of the most popular beverages as well as a range of cherry drinks, not to mention the delicious cherry/raspberry champagne cocktails, made with our own cherry and raspberry liquor!

Yum Yum Yum! is the only way to describe the divine food that our chef, Trent, whips up in the kitchen. With years of experience, Trent and the kitchen staff are sure to impress with their culinary skills. Any particular taste or dietary requirement can be arranged with notice given in advance. Payment, deposits and confirmation is the stuff that no one wants to worry about on the night, so to make it easier on yourself and us, we require confirmation of numbers 14 days prior to the function (the confirmed number is the number to be billed). 20% deposit of the booking must be paid 4 weeks in advance with the balance being due on the evening of the function (or before if it's easier).

Choosing the menu that's right for you, with so many yummy options? It can sometimes be difficult to know which one is right for you, so here’s a guide to get you started...

Cocktail menu – Our most popular option, ideally suited to evening functions including weddings and parties. We can cater for groups up to 150. A full gourmet meal served cocktail style allows guests to mingle and dance with full service from our friendly staff. Along with live music if desired and delicious drinks, you can be sure your guests will have a wonderful time. We make sure there is plenty of seating available too for those that want it. A little sample to whet the appetite (viewing the full menu options is a must!): Spring rolls, tempura vegetables, garlic prawns, chicken skewers, fillet mignons, butterfly prawns, stuffed mushrooms, mini quiche, filo triangles, fish goujons, and more $20-$34 per head depending on selection (enough food to ensure full tummies!)

A La Carte - For something a little more formal, both the two-course and three-course set menus have a delicious range of choices to suit everyone’s taste. We can seat up to 100 people and can provide a highly recommended pre-ordering option at a discounted rate, to ensure that large groups are served quickly and efficiently. You can save $3 per head for a two course meal and $4 per head for a three course meal. A selection from our extensive menu can include: (E) Chicken Caesar Salad, Freshly Rolled Prawn Spring Rolls, Scallop and Bacon Skewers, Fettuccine Carbonara, and more (M) Chicken Breast stuffed with Camembert & Semi-Sundried Tomatoes, Roast Pork or Lamb, Fillet Mignon, Grilled Atlantic Salmon on a bed of saffron rice with caper lemon cream sauce, Roast Butternut Pumpkin Risotto, Butterfly prawns marinated in garlic lemon coriander and olive oil (D) Sticky Date Pudding, Individual Chocolate Pudding with ganache and a dollop of cream or ice cream, Cherry and Apple Pie, Pannacotta, Raspberry Matchstick 2 courses $35, 3 courses $40, min 30 people

Christmas Menu - Perfect for family/friends/work Christmas get-togethers. Our chefs are busy creating a non traditional Christmas menu option. Two and three course meal options T.B.A. If you want to book a date you must hurry, we are filling up fast!
